"I went to have my hearing rechecked and my hearing aids looked at since moving to Tenneesee 2 1/2 years ago. When I read their web description I immediately felt they were exactly what I needed. As soon as I walked in their office I felt peace. I was not disappointed. I was treated like family by Dr. Sally and staff! I would highly recommend for any hearing needs!"

"I was visiting friends in Loudon and realize that I forgot my hearing aids charger, so panic started to take over. After I thought through options I called Bridgewater Balance and hearing in Knoxville and explained my issue and they welcomed me to come in and they would charge them and of course I was moved by their kindness. The problem was I would be visiting several days, so then they offered to let me use a charger and just return it when I left . I was blown away by such an incredible offer and of course took them up on it. This office is superior in customer service and human kindness. I can't Thank these people enough! My hearing aids are only 10 months old or I would have purchased new from them."

"They are amazing! I have two young ones that are autistic and afraid of everything, especially any type of doctor. The doctors here made my girls feel at ease. They talked my oldest through the entire process. We made it through the whole appointment without one meltdown from either child. Very different from our first experience at a different place of buisness. No one at Bridgewater smarted off about my youngest being too loud and no one smarted off or yelled at my oldest. This momma is very thankful for the kind and patient woman at Bridgewater."

"Transcend Hearing is the Best place Ever that I've used to purchase hearing aids! On my first visit, Jeff spent at least 2 hours running my ears through various tests. I was overjoyed when he tweeked the earphones to where I could actually repeat words back to him accurately! The hearing aids I bought are top of the line, and cost less than similar ones I had tried before! In addition to the cost of the hearing aids, which thankfully my insurance covered most, I get FIVE free visits where Transcend Hearing will further tweek my hearing aids. I have been to one of those visits already. My problem with the over the ear and into my ear hearing aids is the Connection! In the past I bought similar hearing aids from a different place, and they didn't care at ALL that the little wires were just a shade too short- or maybe it was the cone itself. Well Jeff understood! Because I had the same problem with the hearing aids I purchased from his company. He put different rubber cones on the end, and it really helped. But I am looking forward to my next free visit, because I still need a little help in that regard. The receptionist is super friendly and kind too. If you're looking for a place that really Understands your hearing problems, and will give you their undivided attention, at a lower cost, Transcend Hearing in Clinton is the place to go!"

"Jeff at Transcend Hearing was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out my hearing aids. I had not been able to hear out of my left ear for several years. My right ear also has a hearing loss. He took his time to make sure that I understood everything I needed to know and answered all my questions. It’s very scary to hear sounds you’ve never heard before. He reassured me it is a learning process. You need to retrain your ears to hear again. Thank you."

"Dr. Miriam was God sent. I have been suffering with hearing loss most of my life. I had hearing aids, but they just didn’t seem to help. After Jeff made several adjustments to them, it was like a whole new world opened up for me. I can now take part in conversations, watch TV without it blaring, and answer questions without having to ask for them to be repeated. I would highly recommend Transcend Hearing if you are looking for someone who truly cares about your hearing loss."

"The audiologist was great. Really friendly and answered all of my questions. She made sure I understood what was going on with my ears. I love the fact that I was able to try out some hearing aids and see what it was like. I also like that she didn't try to upsell me. I got exactly what I wanted at a good price. I also got a nice goodie bag with some filters batteries and some cups. Overall a great experience."

"I am enjoying better hearing, which has improved my quality of life.My audiologist, Dr. Tabitha Rossini at Bridgewater Balance and Hearing in Knoxville, TN, really knows her stuff. From my first visit to every subsequent one, Dr. Rossini has provided exceptional care, taking steps to ensure I am experiencing the best hearing possible. I highly recommend you make an appointment to see her if you are looking for an audiologist who is attentive to needs and endeavors to ensure patient satisfaction.I have moderate to severe hearing loss above 2000 Hz. Consequently, hearing in noisy environments is a challenge, and listening to music from my audio system was no longer enjoyable. Dr. Rossini fitted me with Phonak Marvel R90 hearing aids with cShell custom molds.Recently, Dr. Rossini recommended that I try the Phonak Roger Select iN (RS). She based her recommendation on a personal evaluation of the RS, and an appreciation of my needs. My work entails lots of meetings via computer video, phone, and challenging environments like noisy restaurants and large conference rooms. Dr. Rossini was right, and now I own the RS and prefer never to be without it. With RS, I do not have to work as hard to hear during video meetings or watching TV. What I didn't anticipate was how much RS would restore my enjoyment in listening to music. Most advertisements about RS focus on improved hearing in noisy environments; however, RS also improves hearing when listening to music. There are two options in using RS to enhance your music listening experience:Option 1 (recommended): Connect the RCA output of your preamp/receiver to the audio input of the RS docking station. You will need a cable that has left and right plugs on one end and a 3.5 mm plug for the docking station on the other end. Once connected, start your music. You will hear the music picked up by the hearing aids directly from the audio loudspeakers, as well as what RS is transmitting. The two signals are totally in sync with no latency. Now using the myPhonak App, adjust the mic/surrounding balance toward the left (surrounding) end of the range until the RS signal is not distinctly heard. For me, this is usually about halfway in the surrounding range. When the balance is right, you don't hear the RS unless you go to an adjacent room, and there it is heard, subtly adding its part to the experience. RS subtly adds those mid- and high frequencies I otherwise would not hear, resulting in more transparency, immediacy, air, and enjoyment. The combination of what the hearing aids pick up directly from the audio loudspeakers PLUS the signal transmitted by RS leads to a fuller, more extended, and vibrant sound (at least for me). I can hear the mid- and high frequencies better with RS. The music is more transparent and without distortion. Hearing aids alone cannot accomplish the same level of sound quality.Option 2: Use the RS microphones (instead of an audio cable) to transmit sound heard from the audio system, making the same adjustments mentioned in Option 1. While this will also result in a fuller, more vibrant sound, there may also be some distortion, probably due to the way RS processes some pure tones in music as noise. Activating only 1 or 2 of the RS microphones reduces the amount of noise processing and distortion. With either option, you need to adjust the balance so that the RS signal is not heard as a distinct, separate sound from what is heard directly from sound system loudspeakers. When the two signals integrate, you will only hear the music from the audio speakers in your room. The RS signal is a subtle but unmistakable filler.Once you start listening to your sound system with RS, you likely will not want to have it any other way, whether listening to an audio system, the TV, surround sound movies, or the car radio. Those who want to step up their music listening enjoyment should try a Roger Select.Happy Hearing!!"

"I have been wearing hearing aids for several years. I was told just a few years ago that I had to have a mold for my left ear because of surgery I had. Well Dr. Sally said that was no problem that she could fit me with a regular tip just like I have in my normal ear. I am so thankful that she did this for me. It is so much more comfortable and better in every way. Also, she cleaned out my bad ear that had a bunch of crud in it without charging me any extra. Last time I paid an ENT doctor 450.00 to do the same thing. I love my new hearing aids from Dr. Sally! I highly recommend Dr Sally - owner of Bridgewater Balance and Hearing!!"

"I have been a client here for over 5 years. I have moderate to severe hearing loss in both ears. I struggled for years with poorly fitted aids that didn't even begin to address the needs of a young (at that time ) working adult. Then I found Bridgewater (thank goodness!) Dr. Sally Baerman helped me tremendously by taking the time to establish my needs and get me fitted with the right instruments and programs. It was as if a whole new world opened up to me! I am forever thankful for the superior service, kindness, and generosity that was (and still is) shown to me. I highly, highly recommend this group for anyone who is personally struggling with hearing loss or has a loved one with hearing loss!"

"I was amazed at the tender love and care shown to my sweet son, Garrett. He was spoken to at such a level he could understand about his hearing aids and hearing loss. I must admit, I was afraid and worried, as a Mom, but they helped me understand throughout the entire process. It's one thing to like and place for your childs hearing needs but it's another to trust them. I trust Bridgewater! A special hanks to Sally Baerman ! We also loved the chocolates."

"I never knew what I was missing. I can actually hear water dripping, crickets chirping and all things in between. The staff is wonderful and have done exactly what they promised. They even helped schedule payments so I could afford a more top of the line device. Thinking about going? Do it. Your only regrets will be why you waited so long to go."

I basically quit watching TV and watching a movie on TV or just watching TV without closed caption is wonderful now! I can hear sporting events, hearing conversations around people again and just everyday talking on the cell phone is a 100% improvement beyond believe! Going to Transcend has changed my life! and It didn't hurt my pocket book half as much as before!"

"Took my 90 year old mother here and they were so patient with her and went slowly so she cold understand how to use her hearing aids correctly. They are very knowledgeable about insurance coverage as well. I find that most audiologists know very little about what insurance covers hearing aids. They also recommend other free devices that were available to the hearing impaired."

"I am very pleased with how well I was treated and how wonderful Jeff was at assisting me and making sure I got the help I needed. I have very very severe hearing loss. One of my aids went out and I took it to Jeff for repair. He never pressured me to get new aids like most places I've been to.He checked it out and said it needs to be sent off for repair. I asked him if they could up the volume because my hearing had become worse and they did, I can hear so much more than I did before. I will never go anywhere else. Transcend Hearing is the best place I've ever went to where they truly care about their customers."

"My husband & I both work with Jeff on our hearing issues. Glenn has worked with several other audiologist in past years but, was never totally satisfied. I have worked with only one in Knoxville & have never been totally happy. When Jeff first opened his office in Clinton, I thought why not give him a try instead of going to Oak Ridge or Knoxville! One of the best decisions we have ever made. He has helped to save our marriage 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 He has worked very patiently with both of us for several years as our hearing needs have changed & strives to make us happy. Not only is he very patient, has a great sense of humor, but, Glenn & I have come to think of he & his family as an extended part of our own family. We highly recommend Jeff & his staff!"

"I can't imagine visiting an office with a more caring, attentive team than Transcend. This was my husband's second pair of hearing aids, and the experience this time around was so much different than our first experience with another company. After year's of struggling with his first pair and thinking he should be hearing better, now he can finally hear! Jeff and staff aren't satisfied until they know you have the best results possible. Thank you Transcend Hearing!!"

"I am thankful for Jeff and his office.I have tried other Hearing aids that could not get them adjusted to where I could her people talking and understand what they were saying. On the first visit and adjustment my wife and myself were very surprised at the quality of my hearing.I have gone back for tiny adjustments to make things better and Jeff understands exactly what needs to be done to make things better. I would highly recommend anyone needing Hearing aids to give Jeff a vist before you decide. I am glide that I did ."

"I've been wearing hearing aids for 25 years. Due to moves (mine and theirs), I have been to 4 audiologists. I started with one here in Knoxville, and after almost a year, determined she was only interested in money. I found Transcend Hearing online. I had a minor problem with my right aid, and had previously gotten a super cheap aid elsewhere on my left side as the dog had gotten it and thought 'What a great chew toy. I gave Jeff my right aid, which he had to send in for repair, and in the car, I told my wife I think I like them (Jeff and Kelsey). I returned and told him that I decided to get a real hearing aid for my left ear. He started with the features of aids in different price levels but did not hesitate to tell me expensive ones had more than I needed. We settled on one and then I asked Which on would you get? It was only a hair more. The aid came in, and I was amazed at the difference. He spent plenty of time to make sure the settings and comfort was fine and has follower up several times. In summery he's great. He cares about you, not price, and wants to help you long term. You can trust his advice. I do."

"I recently purchased a new set of aids through Jeff. His expertise, knowledge, familiarity with many brands of aids and attention to detail made my first fitting 100% successful. He understands your concerns and will work with you to fulfill your needs. For those who fight themselves or loved ones to get tested please do so. Yes, cost does play an important part and insurance won't cover them, but Jeff can explain options open to you that can ease your anxiety. I now enjoy being able to hear someone speak without saying Say again or Huh?."
