While competing in the second annual World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships in Finland in early April, members of The American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association (AHIHA) sported a special accessory: hearing aid sweat bands.

The special edition bands, which featured an American flag design, were developed by VanB Enterprises. The team had worn VanB’s hearing aid sweat bands in the past, and the company wanted to do something special to show support of the team’s accomplishments.

VanB Enterprises created the hearing aid sweat band for athletes with hearing loss. The band covers the wearer’s hearing devices to help protect them from perspiration and moisture damage.

It is unclear if these special edition sweat bands will be made available to the public, but to learn more about them and to see available colors and designs, click here!
