Representatives of EarQ recently joined The Massachusetts Hearing Society at its annual conference to discuss the importance of a diverse and community-focused digital outreach strategy for today's independent hearing healthcare practices.
Mashantucket, CT (November 24, 2015)—Responsible and effective digital branding and marketing took center stage during the 2015 New England Hearing Healthcare Conference, hosted by the Massachusetts Hearing Society.
Throughout the event held at the Foxwoods Resort Casino on November 19 and 20, representatives of the EarQ team, including Clifford Carey, communications director of EarQ, discussed the vital role digital strategies are playing in today's ultra-competitive marketplace.
Currently, 82% of the roughly 65 million Baby Boomers and seniors who are online use the internet to research health and wellness information.
"To reach today's patients, it simply isn't enough to have a static website and rely heavily on traditional forms of print marketing," said Carey. "Baby Boomers and others are actively turning to the internet to search for healthcare services, including hearing healthcare services, and they're making decisions based on the quality of the information they find. By taking steps to modernize one's website and utilize diverse online marketing campaigns, a practice can more effectively stand out from their competitors."
